It's frustrating to be focused on doing something only to be interrupted by something else. All you want to do is just finish what you were working on!
However, in our spiritual walk, it is in those interruptions that God reveals Himself and his intentions for you and me. I become too intent on wanting to follow my own schedule, accomplish my own goals. Spiritually, I want to direct where God is leading me next and what He wants me to do.
His assignment for each of us is to follow Him. When I align my schedule, priorities, goals and aspirations with His, I no longer view spiritual speed bumps and changes in plans as interruptions. They are revelations by God to me of Himself.
It is possible to become too spiritually busy to hear God's voice. Stop and see where he may be adjusting your path and assignment today.
