Burden for Prayer

I like many people like to think that my prayer life is good but in reality is quite poor. Ezekiel 22:30 "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one." Matthew 23:37 Jesus wept over Jerusalem "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it!" I find that the busy-ness of my day blocks my focus on prayer. My prayer this morning is that God would align my heart with his. That He would give me a heart for the lost, a burden so heavy that I am compelled to bring it before Him through out the day. That He would help me see clearly today and each day what has eternal value and what does not.
