“Truth is a person, not a concept”…and so begins our devotional for today. This same concept is found in Ephesians 4:21 – “just as truth is in Jesus”. In loving Christ and placing our faith in Him, we have access to truth – Christ is truth/truth is in Christ.
Within each circumstance of life we are armored with this powerful statement. Regardless of the circumstance, regardless of the outcome…truth is in Jesus/Jesus is truth – and so we can rest and be comforted. There is nothing that will alter this reality.
It is not our wisdom or expertise that determines truth; it is the Word Incarnate; it is the Word of God.
We need to train ourselves to respond - “This I Know”- regardless of what we are experiencing or feeling. And what do we know? We know the truth of God’s Word; that truth is Jesus; that truth is in Jesus.
Let us approach each moment of our life armed with the unwavering truth of Jesus. Let us live each day within this powerful reality. Let us know Jesus, the truth in Jesus so that our lives are radically changed; our patterns aligned with this truth.
