Exceedingly Abundantly (Richard Carwile)

As I read the devotional entry for today from Blackaby, I began to think about all the times I have seen God do "exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think". Here are two that came to mind:

When I was in college, I became a Christian. I began to pray for my parents, specifically for my dad, who was not a Christian. I shared the gospel with him, prayed for him, and after four years began to give up hope that he would ever surrender his life to Christ. One night, my dad and I were riding in the car and he turned to me and asked, "Son, how long have you been praying for my salvation?". He went on to tell me about how he had surrendered his life to Christ the day before. God did exceedingly abundantly beyond all that I ever asked or thought.

For those of you who know my family, you know that we have seen God work in amazing ways in the health of our baby girl, Caroline. A year ago we were praying for a good doctor for Caroline's cochlear implant surgery (Caroline was born with a profound hearing loss and surgery was the only hope of her ever hearing). Today, through the miraculous intervention of God, Caroline can hear without the surgery and doesn't even wear hearing aids. God has done exceedingly abundantly beyond all that I ever asked or thought.

When you think about "Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think..." what comes to your mind?
